Rescue organizations of every type and kind are out there, some of them doing absolutely fantastic work with little or no financial backing of any kind.

They do it as a labor of love for the suffering that exists in this world, to ease just a bit of it and help where no one else came along to assist.

No one expects anyone to know everything there is to know — and those that work in rescue realize that a lot of it is a ‘boots on the ground’ adventure in learning some of the ropes under the worst possible circumstances.

Don’t wait. The time will never be just right!

A lot of people don’t even know what a gift they have for rescue until they’re out there in the field, doing it.

Volunteers do not necessarily have the time; they just have the heart.
